We have and are trying hard to
make this Fiji Girmit memorial site as interesting as possible
to our visitors. Hundreds of hours prototyping, scanning,
OCRing, writing plus the usual Fiji sweat made this project
possible so far.
In May 2004 we have
opened a bank account. Guess what, until Sepember 2005 only
ONE person has donated F$50 to our cause! He was an academic
from USP and even wished to stay anonymous. Now the bank has
closed our account since this donation was just used to cover
their fees.
Clearly, people like our
site. But they forget that we have to pay every month hosting
fees.
